HE LOOMED large heading into the match, and Fijian powerhouse Semi Radradra certainly lived up to expectations as his Parramatta Eels took the points against the Bulldogs at ANZ Stadium, 20-6.

Radradra helped himself to two second-half tries, after earlier setting up Michael Jennings for the game's first with one of the great assists.

Few felt the force of the 100kg winger more than Bulldogs fullback Will Hopoate in the 12th minute when he played no small part in the contender for try of the year.

Providing the razzle dazzle fans have come to expect from the 23-year-old, Radradra crashed over the top of Hopoate while hauling in a high bomb from Kieran Foran just short of the tryline.

In the blink of an eye, he had then managed a spectacular blind offload to Jennings in support while tumbling on to his back. With the hard work done - it was truly a case of head down bum up - Jennings did the rest.

After the game developed into an arm-wrestle, Radradra again lit up the Sydney stadium, crossing himself in the 68th and 74th minutes - scoring his 50th and 51st tries in his 53rd NRL appearance.

"I've been doing a lot of work on catching the high ball and it's paid off tonight," Radradra, who completed a game-high 202 metres, told Channel Nine.

PARRAMATTA 20 (Radradra 2, Jennings tries; Gordon 4 goals) def CANTERBURY 6 (Hopoate try; Mbye goal).
