Record turnout for golf

GOLF: A recrod 74 players turned out for the South Burnett Veteran Golf Club round at Nanango.

Graham Bickerton and Rod Underzaght proved to be a winning combination in the men's four ball best ball competition, finishing with 55 points.

Max Strong and Graham Littleton were the runners-up with 47 points on countback from Peter Mohyluk and Ray Forster.

Mixed winners Ros Weathers and Ray Rsylenko took out the division with 51 points.

Lorraine Penthalagon and Tim Robe were runners-up with 47 points on countback from Bev and Wally Dugdell.

Players will travel to Murgon next week. Play starts at 9.30am.
