Adelaide United facing some tough decisions

ADELAIDE United goalkeeeper Eugene Galekovic says coach Josep Gombau will have a few tough decisions to make ahead of Saturday's A-League semi-final clash with Sydney FC at Allianz Stadium.

Michael Maroone (suspension) and Bruce Djite (groin strain) both missed last Friday night's 2-1 victory over Brisbane Roar in the elimination final at Adelaide Oval. Both are expected to be in contention to return to the side this week, and Galekovic (pictured) said he would not envy Gombau having to make a decision on who makes the final squad.

"Everyone's fit, Marrone's back. Djite should be back," he said. "The coach has got some hard decisions as to who plays and who doesn't.''

The Reds ousted the Roar from the title race with Awer Mabil scoring the sealer.

"This result breeds confidence in the team,'' Galekovic. "Two more wins and we'll be champions."
