Results from South Burnett B-grade cricket

CRICKET: Saturday's wet weather caused two of the weekend's South Burnett B-grade cricket games to be washed out.

To play, the Kallindale Warriors and Kingaroy Services moved their game from Kingaroy State School to Taabinga State School.

Warriors won the toss and and elected to bat.

Chance Olm was invaluable for Kallindale with the bat, scoring 104 runs.

Jeffrey Rose made 29 and Dane Bloomfield scored 25.

The Warriors finished the 40 overs on 223 runs and with a wicket in hand.

With the ball for the Services, M Oliver claimed three wickets for 84 runs and T Forbes got two wickets for 34, each off eight overs.

The Services made the required runs in 31 overs with six wickets in hand to score the win.

R Dougdell was best batsmen with 93 not out followed by A Webster with 78.

Kumbia played host to Nanango and the home team one the toss and elected to bat.

Bevan Fawcett scored 96 and Ryan Kelly contributed 53 to the team's total of 294 runs.

Kumbia defended their total dismissing the Scorpions for 228 in 38.1 overs.

Stephen Kirkland was the top scorer for the visitors with 81.
