RESULTS: Wondai course challenges golfers

GOLF: South Burnett golfer Kevin Kerrins proved he has returned to form winning the Veterans Golf Club men's competition on a challenging Wondai course.

Kerrins scored the win with 38 points in a field of 57 men and women.

Peter Hegarty was nearest to pin and Ray Henderson was the mug winner with 17 points.

Aida Lavings took out top honours in the women's competition finishing with 33 points.

Ros Weathers was the runner-up with 30 points to Shirley McDougal while Judy Best was the nearest to pin.

The veterans will play in Blackbutt on Tuesday with a jump start at 9.30am.
