REVEALED: South Burnett's best photographer, as voted by you
FEELING comfortable in front of a camera is never an easy task.
There are many photographers from around our region who are passionate about taking beautiful shots from behind the lens.
The results from our recent reader poll revealed Kymberley Johnson's photography business as being the best of the best in the South Burnett.
Based at her studio in Blackbutt the South Burnett Times spoke with the local photographer about why she thinks her business took out the title.

Ms Johnson said she had been documenting fond family moments for years but officially launched her own photography business eight years ago.
She credited her creative nature as being a vital element in her work, which allowed her to create authentic content that tells a story.
"There's no point in doing the exact same thing for everyone,” Ms Johnson said.
"Every client is different so I work with them to figure out what would suit them best.
"I ask them what type of theme they would like and then get creative with ideas.

"I also like to be as silly as possible on set and have fun with my clients as it helps them to feel more comfortable.
"There's nothing worse than someone who can't relax in front of the camera,” she said.
With the consistent challenge of having to keep up with the changing times, Ms Johnson said she saw a gap in the market two years ago and seized the opportunity.
Along with her business partner Jessica Nichols from Forever and Always Photography they launched a South Burnett first.
Operating under A&F Wedding Photography & Film, the duo offer a full service wedding videography and photography business and travel all across Queensland to capture couple's special days.
"I did some research and nobody in the region was offering videography,” Ms Johnson said.
"Now, we are about to do our 60th wedding this coming weekend.

"95 per cent of the time the couple wants us to do both a video and photos.
"I have had to learn how to do the video side of things, which was a seamless transition because it involves being able to tell a story.
"I do that everyday with my photography business, so it's been a really rewarding process learning the craft.
"I always say, 'we are making magic',” she said.
Maternity, birth, newborn, milestone sessions, family portraits, real estate, engagement, weddings and film are some of the areas that the passionate photographer specialises in.
With bookings now open up to 2021, Ms Johnson said she hoped to continue to grow her two businesses while raising her young family with her partner, Max Saunders.
