Richards excited to see Tippett in action against Power

SWANS defender Ted Richards cannot wait to see key forward Kurt Tippett unleashed against Port Adelaide tomorrow.

Tippett will play his first game for Sydney after an 11-game suspension for salary cap breaches with the Adelaide Crows.

Richards has been marking Tippett at training, and said he was grateful the 202cm and 104kg goalkicker would be somebody else's problem.

"It definitely has been a bit of a change-up in intra-club practice games when I've got to man up this massive unit," Richards said.

"We're really excited that he finally gets his chance to play."
