ROAD CLOSURES: Where BaconFest will be hogging the streets

THE highly anticipated Kingaroy BaconFest 2019 is finally here, and will attract thousands of people to the region this weekend.

Due to the popular festival being such a large-scale event, there will be some road closures throughout the weekend.

Road closures will begin at 4pm on Friday, August 23.

Glendon St will be closed from just after the Commercial Hotel drive-through entrance through to the Alford St intersection. The hotel drive-through will remain open.

The Glendon St carpark, the lane behind the Kingaroy Library, and the carpark out the back of the Kingaroy Town Hall will also be closed to traffic.

All roads will be reopened to traffic at 5pm on Sunday, August 25.
