Robin Bailey tearful as psychic contacts her late husband

RADIO personality Robin Bailey has revealed she was reduced to tears when one of Australia's top mediums made contact with her loved ones, including her late husband Tony Smart.

During a 90-minute phone reading, world-renowned psychic Deb Webber relayed messages from Tony, who died two years ago, as well as Bailey's father and grandmother.

She said the spirits forecast a rosy future with excellent career growth and more TV jobs to come.

The mother of three, who is a Triple M host and presents the weekend Today show, said she was taken by surprise during the reading.

"There was some personal stuff that came up that made me cry. It was confronting at times and there were some emotional issues raised," she said.

"Deb said she was being shown a ladder that related to my career and she kept seeing it going up, so that was really great to hear."

Webber, who starred in award-winning psychic detective show Sensing Murder and had a weekly column in Woman's Day magazine for nine years, conducted the reading without knowing Robin's surname. She correctly asserted that Tony had committed suicide.

"There was some pretty heavy stuff that came through during the reading," Webber said.

"A lot of people can take years to get over what Robin has been through, but the universe is proud of how she has handled herself and how she has moved forward."

Webber will be doing a live show at New Farm Bowls Club on Thursday, March 23.
