RSCPA shelters across the state are at capacity and the South Burnett Times has offered to help find new homes for some of the Kingaroy shelter's residents.

Elmo is slightly stocky six-month-old Bull Mastiff x puppy.

He came to RSPCA shelter with his brothers and sisters and while he was shy at first, the shelter staff said his confidence has grown.

Now he is known as the puppy with a heart of gold.

If you are looking for an active but very loving family member then Elmo might just be the right man for you.

His brothers and sisters are also at the shelter waiting for their furrever homes if you have room for two new friends.

Elmo's adoption fee is $315 which includes desexing and microchipping, vaccination, flea, worm and heart worm treatment as well as a bag of Hills Science Diet Puppy food.

Just pop down to the Kingaroy shelter on Warren Truss Dr and ask for Elmo!

Kingaroy RSPCA takes in 120 stray animals every month and is the perfect place to start when looking for a new addition to the family.
