Scoring shared in victory

RUGBY LEAGUE: Nine players in the South Burnett under 18s side found the try line in the teams 64 to 12 point win over the Toowoomba Brothers.

Thomas Springate and Kaia Williams scored two tries each with Tyreece Gyemore, Dion Handford, Jakeb Mead, George Fisher, Jack Sullivan, Corey Cross and Jackson Mladenovic scoring four points each.

Thomas converted 10 of the 11 tries for the team to take his season tally to 44 goals for the South Burnett after 10 games for the side.

Thomas, George and Kaia earned selection in the Central Division Crows representative team who will take on South East Queensland later in the year.

Their selection was based on their performance at the U18 47th Battalion in Gladstone where the team finished in third.

The team's 52 point win over the Brothers on Saturday puts them in fourth place on the ladder after 14 games in the Toowoomba Rugby league competition with three regular fixture games to be played.

The team have scored 10 wins this season as well as three losses and one draw.

The South Burnett side will play in front of their friends and family again this weekend when they take on Oakey in Wondai.
