Scott Juniper in hospital after cycling accident

TWO cyclists have been hospitalised this morning after a crash at Twin Waters at about 6.20am, one of them is Scott Juniper, son of prominent Mooloolaba developer Graeme Juniper.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said paramedics were called after three cyclists collided on Ocean Dr near Magnolia Lane.

The cyclists were taken to Nambour General Hospital in a stable condition.

A Nambour General Hospital spokeswoman confirmed Mr Juniper, was in a stable condition after the incident but was unable to provide any information about the extent of his injuries.

It's believed there was no car involved in this morning's incident.

It's not the first time Mr Juniper has found himself battered and bruised.

He cheated death back in 2005 after a massive crash in a Targa New Zealand rally car race stage.

He and his co-driver plunged 270m down a ravine, flipping about 30 times.

Miraculously, Mr Juniper walked away with only chipped teeth, bruising and a headache after being knocked out.
