A SERVO on the corner of two major highways in the Darling Downs has sold for $2.7 million.

The Freedom Fuels petrol station, sitting on the intersection of the Warrego and Moonie Hwys in Dalby, officially changed hands on December 4.

Raine and Horne Commercial Toowoomba's Nick Koenig sold the property, highlighting its prime location and long-term lease.

"Freedom Fuels have occupied the premises since 2006 and it has consistently been one of their top performing sites in Queensland,” he wrote in the online listing.

"This quality investment property is leased to Freedom Fuels on a ten year lease with two five-year options.

"These premises are located on the intersection of two major highways and cover an area of 1571sq m.”

The property was listed for sale through three different agencies from April 2015, according to RP Data.

The Body Corporate for the Warrego Centre Community Titles Scheme is listed as the owner.

The annual rent from Freedom Fuels is nearly $230,000.
