Single vehicle rollover at Crawford

POLICE responded to a single vehicle rollover on Booie-Crawford Rd in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Kingaroy Police Senior Sergeant Duane Frank reported a Toyota sedan left the road and rolled before hitting a power pole

An ambulance attended and treated the 22-year-old Kingaroy driver at the scene.

No serious injuries were recorded but the man was issued with an infringement notice for failing to keep proper control of the vehicle.

The vehicle was towed from the scene and the driver was taken home by police.

Snr Sgt Frank urged drivers to stay cautious on the roads.

"We've already had three fatalities on Queensland roads since the beginning of May," he said.

"And it's only day four."

Snr Sgt Frank reported 31 fatalities in April and 80 since the beginning of the year.

"That averages one death per day on Queensland roads in April," he said.
