Skate park a step closer

MT PERRY'S youth will learn gnarly moves at tomorrow's free skateboarding clinic and they will soon have their own skate park practice in.

Mt Perry Axemen's and Sawyers' Club donated $6301 this week to bring total funds for the park to $173,801.

The total was helped by $86,500 from the Queensland Department of National Parks, Recreation, Sport and Racing, $70,000 cash and in-kind from North Burnett Regional Council and other donations from the local community.
