Small towns trump Kingaroy in South Burnett 4G rollout

KINGAROY Optus customers have been left behind as other towns in the South Burnett make the jump to 4G.

The increased speed was announced by Optus last year. At the time the service was expected to roll out in the next few months but delays have hampered it.

Across the South Burnett smaller towns have already made the jump, with a spokesman confirming Murgon, Nanango and Blackbutt have had services upgraded to 4G.

No date has been given for the Kingaroy rollout.
