South Burnett business owners to share tips for success

JANE Gunn opened the doors to her new store, Pow Wow on Mackenzie, in March, and this week she will be inspiring others on their business journeys.

The business owner will talk about establishing her Wondai store that sells new and pre-loved women's clothing at the Business XL networking event.

Ms Gunn will be joined at Business XL by Barambah Business Services, Bank of Queensland Wondai, Parkside and Torkit Business Solutions.

Mayor Keith Campbell said he encouraged all businesses to get behind the event.

"The Business XL events are a unique blend of businesses sharing their stories and successes and businesses displaying their products and services for immediate purchase,” Cr Campbell said

"I encourage businesses in Wondai and across the region to be involved as business to business connections are vital for regional growth.”

The Business XL event will be held at the Diggers Memorial Hall in Mackenzie St, Wondai at 5.30pm on Thursday, May 23.

Torkit Business Solutions continues to support Business XL through sponsorship of the lucky door prize of a cinema advertising package valued at more than $600.

For information about having a stand at the event, call the council's economic development officer on 4189 9100.
