LAURA Limb's passion for music sparked at a very young age when she began playing around on the organ her mother used to play in the family dance band.
This led to piano lessons, performing original songs at high school talent nights and then going on to study music and piano at university level.
Her love of songwriting continued, but self-doubt caused her to turn away from her passion for many years.
However, what you are born to do has a way of eventually seeking you out.
Ms Limb joined the I Heart Songwriting Club in June of 2016 and found herself again in her songwriting and the community and support that the club provides.
This led to Ms Limb landing a spot performing the I Heart Songwriting's Spellbound: Halloween House Concert.
Held in Brisbane and Sydney, the concerts are a secret affair tucked away in suburban houses.
Laura's classically trained background juxtaposed with her love of all things rock'n'roll blend uniquely in her songwriting to create an alternative pop sound.
This is ideally suited to the house party vibe.
The I Heart Songwriting Club global online community aims to inspire and support songwriters as they develop their skills in a safe and inclusive environment.
Over the past three years, the club has generated more than 5000 songs from worldwide members, including songwriters from Australia, UK, USA, Germany, Canada, New Zealand, Spain and Brazil.
These songs are performed live at gigs, recorded on albums and are played on radio.
The Spellbound: Halloween House Concert will be held on Sunday, October 29 from 2.30pm.
