South Burnett Peace of Mind founder launches business

CHARITY organisation South Burnett Peace of Mind has entered a new era.

The organisation reached out and supported vulnerable people in the community by providing after-hours support and drop-in centres.

It also ran the White Dove balls which gave those who were homeless or disadvantaged a good meal and a fun night out at the Kingaroy Town Hall.

The organisation was officially dissolved and closed down in March this year.

Now South Burnett Peace of Mind founder Rhonda Trivett has decided to start up a business of the same name to continue the work.

"I will always have the passion to help people," she said.

This will enable Peace of Mind to continue to support those who are vulnerable, homeless and disadvantaged in the community.

Ms Trivett thanked the churches and dedicated community members who had supported the charity over the years.

She said it was important to make time to help others.

"I think that whatever day, we should be asking people if they are OK and how they are going," Ms Trivett said.

"We should really care because everybody matters."

If you would like to support or access Peace of Mind, get in contact with Ms Trivet by calling 0488 110 955.
