South Burnett players score away from home
Errol Hartmann won the day at the South Burnett Veterans annual visit to Goombungee.
Hartmann won the men's competition on 39 points ahead of 43 veteran players and nine home team players.
Mark McLeod finished as runner-up on countback.
Joan Nugent and Bill Pool finished ahead of 50 players at the South Burnett Veterans Golf four ball best ball competition.
The pair scored the win with 46 points on the Blackbutt course on Tuesday, February 26.
Ann Cass and David Cass finished as runners-up on 42 points.
Errol and Jewel Hartmann, Devina and Bob Holmes, Judy Best and Mel Derby, Beryl Miller and Rob Unverzart and Jenny Scholl and Chris Haegens also all finished on 42 points.
Lionel Worth and Peter Molyhuch were the winners of the men's competition on 49 points.
Andy Box and Ken Christensen finished second on 46 followed by Murray McGee and Mark Clarkson on 45
Judy Best was nearest the pin for ladies on 5-14 and Ann Cass was nearest the pin on 9-18.
Peter Molynuch was nearest the pin on 5-14 and Chris Callaghan was nearest the pin on 9-18.
On Tuesday the veterans will play in Jandowie starting at 9.30am.
