South Burnett tennis club scouting for social players

KINGAROY tennis players will return to the court on Tuesday for the summer season of social tennis fixtures - are you keen to pick up the racquet and join them?

The Kingaroy and District Tennis Association is calling for new players ahead of the season's start.

More than 30 people have nominated to take to the court from October 16 from 7pm.

If nomination numbers remain at 30, the competition will be contested between seven teams, though there is the possibility of expanding to an eight or nine-team competition.

The social competition caters to players of different abilities, and is graded from a number-one player to a number-four player.

Teams will consist of four players, and each team will feature players from each grade to ensure a fair competition.

For more information and to nominate, call Errol on 4162 2178.
