Spooky fun at Kingaroy Shoppingworld

THANKS to the spectacular Trick or Treat event at Kingaroy Shoppingworld, Halloween in the South Burnett has never been more fun.

Mara Moir was especially excited to get her family involved in the festivities.

"I've always loved the season, I've been trying to get everyone else to dress up with me and I've finally succeeded this year," she said.

Thanks to Kingaroy Shoppingworld, the parents can have some peace of mind while letting their kids celebrate.

"I was so excited when I heard about the Trick or Treat event here in store. It's an amazing idea, and it gives the kids somewhere safe to do it, so the parents don't become hesitant or worried," Ms Moir said.

"They don't have to worry about knowing the people, or whether the lollies are safe or not, because it's all publicly organised."

Ms Moir is excited children are now given the opportunity to dress up and have fun in a social environment.

"We definitely want to continue doing the celebration, and Halloween should really be brought to Australia. It's fun for everyone, and my daughter is extremely happy to dress up. Not only is it fun for the kids to play and do at home, but now we get to do it in public, and it's so much more fun," she said.

"We really hope they'll keep doing this, and that more people will get involved in the Halloween fun next year."
