St Mary's carols night proves a hit

ST MARY'S Catholic College has held another successful annual carols night.

The event on Thursday was attended by 280 students, parents and staff who were all entertained by students doing the Christmas Story.

Assistant to principal John Dalton said each class presented one scene of the story.

"(We have) been preparing for a while and it was a very lovely night," he said.

"We did it with live music."

St Mary's College Year 9 String Quartet provided the sound with a double bass, cello and violins.

"This would be one of our bigger gatherings of the year and has been a long standing tradition in our school."
