Standard licence check leads to two Cherbourg court charges

A 21-YEAR-OLD Cherbourg man will face court after a standard licence check in Cherbourg went wrong.

At about 1.40am on August 4, police pulled him over on Murray Rd in Cherbourg.

They found he was allegedly unlicensed and carrying restricted liquor.

He is set to appear in Cherbourg Magistrates Court on August 21 charged with driving a motor vehicle without a licence and prohibition of possession of liquor in a restricted area.
