String of car-related offences across South Burnett town

POLICE are investigating a string of car-related property offences in Kingaroy that took place between Thursday, May 2 and Thursday, May 9.

Sometime between May 2 and May 7 a car battery was stolen from a locked Isuzu truck at the back of an Avoca St business.

At 6.30pm on May 7 registration plates were removed from a Ford sedan parked on Alford St.

At 1.40am on May 9, unknown offenders cut a padlock at the front entrance of a business on Kingaroy St and broke in. They then stole tyres and rims from the business.

Overnight on May 9 an unknown offender stole a rear tyre and rim from a vehicle parked in a carpark on Prince St.

They replaced the stolen tyre with a space saver tyre.

No culprits have been caught yet, and investigations are ongoing.
