
Taabinga bushfire smouldering as crews keep watch
A BUSHFIRE is still smouldering in the vicinity of Aerodrome Rd and Railway Rd in Taabinga.
Queensland Fire and Emergency Services crews continue to monitor the Taabinga bushfire.
The fire has been contained and is posing no threat to any properties at this point in time.
The bushfire originally broke out on Sunday afternoon near the Kingaroy Clay Target Club.
Several firefighter crews were at the scene and working together to keep the fire under control.
Residents may continue to be affected by a smoke haze over the next few days.
Residents are urged to close windows and doors and if they suffer from a respiratory condition, to keep medications close by.
Motorists should drive with caution and to conditions.
