Tasha D could be more than the Face of the Globe
THE world's calling Tasha Dunlop.
The 24-year-old Mountain Creek beauty is off to Europe at the end of the month to compete in her first international beauty pageant.
Miss Dunlop, known in the competitive modelling circuit as Tasha D, is one of five Australian girls in the Face of the Globe competition.
"This is a dream come true," Ms Dunlop said.
"It's my ultimate life goal to compete in an international beauty competition and it's finally here. All my hard work has finally paid off."
She paid for the cost of the flights through her own swimwear business Cayios Creations, while also raising funds for Face of the Globe's selected charity Rainbow Child Foundation.
The organisation aims to provide care and spiritual understanding to children of the world by building orphanages as well as providing clean drinking water to thousands of children, among other projects.
Miss Dunlop has entered more than 27 pageants in the past two years.
She's made it to the preliminary rounds of Miss Galaxy, Miss Universe and Miss Indy, the state final of Miss World and the Australian Swimwear Model of the Year Nationals.
However, Ms Dunlop said she wanted to put more focus on her swimwear line rather than modelling next year.
