CRICKET: Nanango's Matt Springate impressed at the crease on Saturday scoring 118 runs not out against Kumbia.

His team mates made a combined total of 75 runs for the Scorpians to finish with 193 runs after 40 overs four wickets down.

Joseph Milsom led Kumbia's bowliung attack with two wickets for 42 runs off eight overs.

Milsom backed up his performance with the ball with 49 runs not out with the bat to be the top run scorer for Kumbia.

Nanango were unable to defend their total with Kumbia scoring the win with 195 runs after 40 overs and two wickets in hand.

Cherbourg won the toss and elected to bowl in their match against Murgon.

Andrew Roderick contributed 55 runs to Murgon's total of 146 runs and Shane Sippel made 23.

Barry Fisher Snr and Danny Weazel claimed two wickets each for 26 runs off eight overs for Cherbourg.

Ryan Sommerfeld led Murgon's bowling attack claiming four wickets for nine runs off five overs.

N. Sanewski and Riley Sippel claimed two wickets each and Harry Sippel dismissed one batsmen for Cherbourg to be all out for 74 runs.

Blackbutt opened the batting at their home ground against Wondai.

Dylan Gilliland was the top run scorer for the Timbertowners with 107 runs followed by D Allery with 49 runs and S Lewis with 23.

Chris Kerkew claimed three wickets for 35 runs for Wondai and J Hobbs claimed two wickets for 22 for Blackbutt to be all out for 244 runs.

F Hobbs was the top scorer for 30 runs followed by Jackson Merritt with 21 and Robert Christensen on 19.

Dylan Gilliland and J Kruger claimed two wickets each to secure the win for Blackbutt for 111 runs.

The Kingaroy Services were set to play the Warriors Kallindale but the Kingaroy side were forced to forfeit due to nine players being unavailable.

The Murgon Crusaders and Southern District Devils travelled to Gympie for their second games of the A-grade season.

The Crusaders scored a win over the Gympie Colts and the Devils were defeated by Western Gympie.
