Teams perform on home soil
POLOCROSSE: A number of the country's strongest polocrosse riders travelled to Tansey to compete in the club's carnival.
The home teams stepped up and performed on their home grounds.
President of the club, Justin Hafey, was proud of everyone's effort across the weekend.
"We did fairly well and I was very proud of the club and the state players are all holding their form and that is what you are looking for going into nationals in Perth,” he said.
Players travelled from South Australia, Victoria and from across Queensland to compete and Hafey said the club have received positive reports from all involved and it was a credit to the community.
"Overall we were very happy, we had a good turn up of clubs from interstate and it was a good profitable weekend for us,” he said.
"We would like to congratulate and thank our community for the effort they put in to the events we run,” he said.
