Teeing off to honour great man

THE inaugural Michael Reynolds Memorial Golf Day will be held on Saturday, February 10.

Held in honour of former Murgon teacher, Michael Reynolds, the day will be a nine-hole, three-person ambrose.

A friend and former colleague remembered their mate with fondness.

"(He was) the best work colleague I have ever had and often the only reason I wanted to go to work, a team player, a supportive mentor, and an incredible team leader," they said.

"The leader of a band called 'Soul Good', he was the best band leader.

"Had the perfect Pommy sense of humour, the best bloke ever. Michael Reynolds...farewell."

All are welcome to attend the day in Michael's honour at Murgon Golf Course.

Arrive from noon for a 1pm shotgun start.

Cost is $20 per person, which includes course fees and a burger tee off.

Drinks and refreshments available from clubhouse as well as on course drinks cart.

Prizes and raffles, open mic and music to follow the day into the evening.

Please nominate your team with the Murgon State School Office on 41698333.

If you cannot get a team , come along and organisers will put you into one.
