Teen ‘held hostage, beaten’ at Brisbane home

A TEENAGER is in hospital with "significant injuries" after being held against her will and assaulted over three days at a house south of Brisbane, police allege.

It is alleged the 19-year-old woman was threatened on October 23 before she was taken to an address at Clearview Street, Waterford West.

At that location, police have alleged the teenager was held against her will and seriously assaulted by the 40-year-old female occupant of the house over three days.

Police visited the house on Clearview Street at about 10.55pm last night and found the teenager with "significant injuries", it is alleged. She has been taken to hospital for treatment.

A 40-year-old Waterford West woman has been charged with one count each of kidnapping, deprivation of liberty, torture and failing to appear in accordance with an undertaking.

The woman will appear in the Beenleigh Magistrate Court today.

Investigations are continuing.
