Telstra warns upgrades may interrupt service

KINGAROY customers have been warned their mobile service may be interrupted during Telstra service upgrades.

The aim of the upgrades is to improve mobile service in the area, with Kingaroy predicted to have in-building coverage for 4GX.

According to Telstra's website, coverage for 4GX is already available in more than 1600 cities and towns across Australia.

The upgrade work for Kingaroy will take place over six days from Thursday, December 6.

During this period, local customers have been warned they might experience mobile service interruptions.
