Campdraft: Aboard trusty steed Doc's Traveller, Trevor Tessmann put in a stunning performance to take out the Open classification at the Kumbia & District Charity Campdraft at the weekend.

Tessmann was near-flawless in his run, cutting out the heifer from the herd early and keeping the momentum going throughout the figure-eight course.

The Meandu cole miner appeared to be on the same wave length as the beast, drafting it easily around the left peg that had brought so many previous runs unstuck, and through the gate for a score of 93.

Five more winners were crowned across the three-day campdraft; Rick Greenup the talk of the weekend taking out both the Novice and Maiden classifications aboard Playboy Pet and Lethal Justice respectively.

Mark Buttsworth claimed the Restricted Open crown, while Dean Radke and Kayla Edwards won the Juvenile and Junior classes respectively.
