The South Burnett wines among Queensland's best
A SOUTH Burnett winery has come away with a swag of awards from the Queensland Wine Awards.
Clovely Estate took out two trophies, a gold medal, two silver medals and two bronze medals at the awards on September 7.
Cloverly Estate managing director Dr Susan Mercer said the winery constantly produced wines that ranked among Queensland's best.
"It used to be that winning a Queensland award for wine was no big deal but these days the competition is strong and the quality of wines is outstanding,” Dr Mercer said.
"We are delighted to be recognised for producing consistently good wines that are amongst the winners in many categories and can stand alongside Australia's best.”
The winery has vineyards, olive groves and a cellar door in the South Burnett.
