There's a cool change coming

THERE will be a slight reprieve from these hot days according the Weatherzone meteorologist Brett Dutschke.

"There's a little bit of rain at the moment and today is going to the be the wettest day for the coming week and the most humid as well,” Mr Dutschke.

While there's rain falling Mr Dutschke said the humidity will make it feel hotter than it actually is.

"Today, for the most of the day its going to feel like it's between 30 and 34 degree and that will last 6pm,” he said.

"The high humidity suggests that it's not going to rain all day, it'll be generally dry until mid-afternoon.

"It'll be dry enough for it to heat up to about 31-32degree and from about 2pm that's when showers and storms become most likely,” Mr Dutschke.

All up we're have a chance of getting between 10-20mm of rain.

There also the chance more shower tomorrow morning an even a brief thunderstorm before sunrise.

From Wednesday, a cool south easterly change is going to reduce the humidity and temperature.

"They'll be generally dry few says and about 27-28 degrees through to Friday and the nights will be cooling to below 20 degrees,” he said

"Its certainly going to feel more comfortable and it will start to warm up from next weekend.

"By this time next week could get 33/34 degree,” Mr Dutschke.
