Third property searched by police in Sharon Edwards case

UPDATE, 3.30pm: Police have executed a crime scene warrant today at a property in Lawrence as they continue to search for a teacher missing from Grafton.

Mrs Sharon Edwards, aged 55, was last seen in Grafton between 10pm and 11pm on Saturday 14 March 2015.

Mrs Edwards - a mother, grandmother and dedicated teacher at a local school - was due to teach classes on Monday 16 March but failed to attend.

Police and family hold grave concerns for her welfare as her disappearance is extremely out of character; she has no known medical conditions and has not made contact with relatives.

Strike Force Burrow was formed by the Coffs/Clarence Local Area Command to investigate Mrs Edwards' disappearance.

Following extensive searches and inquiries, today (Wednesday 22 April 2015), detectives executed a crime scene warrant at a property on Tanglewood Road, Lawrence.
