‘Thrashing’ shark clears Sunshine Coast beach
BREAKING: A Sunshine Coast beach has been evacuated after a shark was seen thrashing in the surf.
Dorsal - Queensland Shark Reports reported that the 2.3 metre shark, believed to be a bronze whaler, was spotted at Peregian Beach about 10am.
"Shark was thrashing around in the face of a wave chasing bait," it was reported.
"Very clear water, sunny and lots of bait around.
"Water was cleared."
