Three car collision in Kingaroy
AT LEAST one person has been taken to hospital for observation after a three car collision in Kingaroy this morning.
Constable Ian Threadingham said the incident occurred at roughly 9:50am at the intersection between Industrial Avenue and Kingaroy-Cooyar Road.
Emergency crews attended the scene including the fire department.
Constable Threadingham said it was likely the collision occurred because someone failed to give way.
He said that a portion of Industrial Avenue would be closed while officials cleared the area.
UPDATE: 1:40pm
Kingaroy Senior Sergeant Duane Frank said five people have been taken to hospital following the crash.
2 females in vehicle and a female with two children in another vehicle were taken to hospital.
Snr Sgt Frank said none of the injuries were serious.
"This is just a case of luck that no one was seriously injured," he said.
