Traffic, drug and property offences in Kingaroy

KINGAROY police issued 22 fines, performed 276 Roadside Breath Tests and attended five calls related to domestic violence between January 14 and 20.

Investigations are continuing after unknown offenders approached a vehicle parked at an address in Memerambi between 6-8pm on Wednesday, January 16.

The offenders gained access to the vehicle and stole a wallet before running from the premises.

Police are investigating after an offender entered a yard on Albert St and left with a grey box trailer at 11pm on Wednesday, January 16.

Investigations are continuing after a number of offenders removed various items from a fridge before getting back into their car while at a drive through bottle shop.

At 9.44pm on Thursday, January 18 one passenger exited the vehicle to take the items and then the car exited in an easterly direction.

A 25-year-old Nanango woman will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on February 11 after police allegedly found drug-related material when searching her car.

Police intercepted the Toyota Hiace on Avoca St at 2am on Monday, January 14.

A 44-year-old Nanango man has been fined $261 and three demerit points for speeding.

Police intercepted the man at 9.27am on Monday, January 14 on the Bunya Highway driving a Toyota Hilux at 78km in a 60km zone.

A Kingaroy woman has been fined $417 for use of a unregistered five or six cylinder or three rotor motor vehicle.

Police intercepted a 49-year-old driver of the driving a Holden Commodore on Belle St at 2.10pm on Tuesday, January 15 for driving an unregistered vehicle.

A Murgon man has been fined $261 and three demerit points for driving at 115km on the Bunya Highway.

Police intercepted the 39-year-old driving a Nissan Navara at 11.34pm on Friday, January 18.

A Wondai woman has been fined $130 and one demerit point for driving at night with no lights.

Police intercepted the 56-year-old driving on Youngman St at 11.46pm on Friday, January 18.

A woman has been fined $174 and one demerit point for speeding on Kingaroy Cooyar Rd.

Police intercepted the Middle Ridge woman driving a Hyundai Getz at 112km in a 100km zone at 12.40pm on Sunday, January 20.
