Troubled Memerambi comes to life

MEMERAMBI may have some houses that have been left half finished, but that hasn't stopping tenants flocking to the small town.

Raine and Horne property manager, Jackie Allery said they had absolutely no available rentals in Memerambi and this has been the case right across the South Burnett.

"Our Memerambi houses are fully tenanted, in fact we only have three rentals across our entire books at the moment," Mrs Allery said.

Mrs Allery said the high demand for rentals in the South Burnett was the result of the high volume of current developments.

"Tradies and contractors have taken long term leases while they work on the hospital upgrades, Swickers and others," Mrs Allery said.

Mrs Allery said she hadn't seen this sort of need for housing in a long time.

"This is the highest demand for rentals we have experienced in probably four or five years," she said.

The good news is those in the market for an investment property would be very wise to have a look at South Burnett properties.

It is clear they will have a lot of eager tenants just waiting to put in an application to lease.
