UPDATE, 4.30pm: East Wooroolin Rd is currently closed due to the grass fire in Wooroolin. 

Smoke from the grass fire can be seen from Kingaroy. 

A total of 12 QFES crews are on scene at the Wooroolin grass fire. 

Crews are conducting backburning and working out how to contain the fire along a couple of edges.

Crews have got the Kingaroy grass fire under control. 

EARLIER: QUEENSLAND fire and emergency crews are currently on scene at a grass fire in Wooroolin.

The fire is reported to be burning near the Sports Ground Rd and East Wooroolin Rd this afternoon.

A total of 11 crews are currently attending the fire, working to contain the flames.

The smoke may affect the surrounding area, and motorists are urged to drive with caution and to conditions along the Bunya Highway.

The fire broke out earlier this week and is posing no threat to properties at this time.

Another grass fire is currently burning at 79 Ivy St in Kingaroy.

One QFES crew are attending to the fire, who were first called at 3.55pm.

If residents are concerned their property is under threat, they are advised to call 000 immediately.
