Two injured after vehicles with caravans collide

TWO people have been taken to hospital after two vehicles each towing caravans crashed north of Toowoomba.

Emergency services were called to the intersection of the D'Aguilar Highway and George Green Rd at South Nanango about 2.15pm.

A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokeswoman said one vehicle was on its roof while the other vehicle, along with its caravan, was in a gully.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said two patients had been transported to Kingaroy Hospital with minor injuries.

One patient had no obvious injuries while the other was suffering from neck and back pain.

A tow truck is on scene to move the vehicles.
