Two people taken to hospital following Bruce Highway crash

TWO people have been transported to Mackay Base Hospital following a crash on the Bruce Highway.

A Queensland Ambulance spokesman said the two-vehicle accident happened on the Bruce Highway near the Sarina Auto Wreckers at about 8am.

The spokesman said two people were taken to hospital suffering from neck pain.

A Queensland Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman said there were no entrapments.
