
Unlicensed drivers on Kingaroy roads
IN TWO days Kingaroy Police intercepted three unlicensed drivers on the town's roads.
A Nanango woman has been fined $200 for unlicensed driving and her car has been immobilised for seven days.
Police intercepted the 39-year-old driver of a Toyota station wagon at 11am on Thursday, December 27 on Arthur St.
A 41-year-old Booie woman has also been fined $200 for unlicensed driving.
Police intercepted her in her Ford sedan on Haly St at 8.50pm on December 27.
Investigations revealed the woman was unlicensed.
A 26-year-old Memerambi man will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on January 14 for allegedly speeding and driving while unlicensed.
The man was intercepted by police at 7pm on Saturday, December 29, driving a Toyota station wagon 112km/h in a 100km/h zone on the Bunya Highway.
Subsequent inquiries revealed the man's licence was also suspended.
