Van stolen from Sunshine Plaza found crashed

A VAN stolen from a Sunshine Plaza carpark last night has been found rolled beside a road at North Arm.

Maroochydore police shift supervisor Sergeant Bryan Mabb said the 2008 Toyota HiAce was stolen from a ground level carpark near the cinemas at Sunshine Plaza some time between 10pm and 11.50pm yesterday.

It was found abandoned this morning rolled onto its side on Gold Ck Rd, about 3km from the intersection with Bunya Rd.

Sgt Mabb said possible CCTV footage of the theft was being obtained for review.
