Vandals target Cherbourg police car

CHERBOURG police officers were given a nasty surprise when they returned to their vehicle following a house visit.

A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said Cherbourg police were calling on anyone with information to come forward after their vehicle was vandalised.

The vehicle's windscreen and other windows were smashed while police were attending a house in Barber St.

The wilful damage incident happened between 7pm and 7.15pm on Friday, July 12.

No arrests were made and investigations are ongoing.
