Veterans urged to take health survey
VETERANS who served in Australia's military from 2010-14 are being urged to complete a survey on their health.
The University of Adelaide survey is gathering input from veterans who left since then and defence force staff who are still serving.
It asks ADF members about the impact of military service on their physical and mental health, housing, finding work after the military and government support for veterans.
Veterans' Affairs Minister Stuart Robert said the survey would help inform the government.
He said would help create a "good understanding of those elements that are working, and where improvements can be made for veterans who served in the most recent conflicts".
Mr Robert said leaving the military and adjusting to civilian life could also be a "dramatic change".
The survey can take about an hour, is open until November 30, and is online at www.transitionandwellbeing.adelaide.edu.au.
