AFTER two out of five Harding-Madsen Shield matches were called off yesterday, it looks like the teams decided to enjoy some vicarious action from Caloundra.
With the rain coming down yesterday afternoon, the Toowoomba Cricket Club's Facebook administrator clearly spent some time enjoying some incredible action that went down in Caloundra, posting the stunning footage up for all to enjoy.
Players and umpires all agreed they had never seen anything like it.
New Caloundra signing, Damien Smith produces a great wicket but watch what happens to the bail after the wicket.
Caloundra Cricket's Facebook fans were pretty quick to agree, with user Owen Wal stating, "In my 30 years of cricket I have never seen this before."
Even bowler Damien Smith got in on the action after Aaron Sippel had a dig about the legitimacy of the bowl, saying, "Elbow in slo mo looks a little suspect."
Mr Smith took the joke pretty well, replying with a humble, "I'Il be the first to admit I chuck it".
