VIDEO: Man hires guy to dress up like a crab and dance

IT STARTED as maybe the most ridiculous help wanted advertisement of all time.

A Reddit user posted in a Los Angeles community that he was hiring, "Someone to dress up in a crab suit for a seafood party $50".

After lots of jokes, a guy with the username "trappedmouse" chimes in: "You wouldn't even have to pay me".

That was 19 days ago followed by radio silence.

Until today.

Apparently the seafood party not only happened, but the enthusiastic recruit has delivered.

Set to Michael Jackson's Billie Jean, a video from the "LA Chef's seafood boil" shows a young man tearing up the dance floor dressed as a bright red crustacean.

It's unclear how much the dancing crab was paid, if anything at all.

In his post to Facebook, the crab's boss describes his hire as being "as close to perfect as you could get. It's like booze is his superpower".

There is also purportedly video of the dancing crab using his impressive dance skills to impress female guests, but that has not appeared online so far.
