WATCH: Driver mounts path to try hit pedestrian

A DALBY woman has shared shocking footage of a car swerving onto the footpath and attempting to hit a pedestrian outside her home.

Ashleey posted the video on Facebook last night after she saw the incident on her CCTV camera.

The video shows a car coming into frame and then speeding up and mounting the footpath in an attempt to hit someone out walking.

Once the person in the video realises what is happening, they begin to run.

She said she was in too much shock to see where they went after running to safety.

"I was just sitting down watching Game of Thrones, my cameras are right next to my TV and this happened," she said.

"I called the cops but they can't do much about it as I couldn't get a licence plate number.

"What kind of human would go out of there way to hurt someone? Pure filth and also the damage they could have done to my car and animals. No respect.

"I was in a lot of shock, my heart was pounding.

"The car was definitely speeding and also I remember hearing earlier that afternoon a fight. Yelling and screaming of a woman and man."

Anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
